Educating a Highly Involved Parents about Adaptive Testing

Session Description:
This session will provide participants the opportunity to examine the steps Shanghai American School (SAS) took to educate a highly involved and deeply concerned parent community about its transition to MAP testing.

This session outlined SAS's MAP Staff Resource Portal, which was developed to support staff and administrators in gaining the necessary knowledge to communicate effectively with parents about MAP testing and using data to guide instructional practice. The SAS Parent Portal was also highlighted as a resource for the SAS parent's seeking additional information.
